Villa Solane

Set within the Bellet vineyard in the hills above Nice, Villa Solane is a 19th-century Niçois house facing due south, in complete quiet. Just a few minutes from the city centre and the seafront, it sits in a natural setting of vines and hillside that feels worlds away. At 450 m², it comfortably accommodates families or groups of friends, with enough space for everyone to settle in at their own pace.

The villa has seven bedrooms, all carefully decorated, several of which open directly onto the garden or have a balcony with views over the hills. The five bathrooms are modern, most featuring walk-in showers, double vanity units and quality finishes. The living spaces are generous and well laid out: a large sitting room with several seating areas and a grand piano, a veranda set up as a dining room that draws natural light throughout the day, and a fully equipped kitchen with a central island and high-end appliances. A breakfast nook in the kitchen makes for easy, informal mornings.

Outside, the garden stretches across more than a hectare of landscaped terraces, with plenty of spots to relax and a genuine sense of seclusion. The 12 × 6 metre pool faces south and looks out over the vineyard hills. A private, waymarked hiking trail of 10 kilometres starts directly from the property — a fine way to explore the hills around Nice on foot. For longer stays, the villa also has a gym and a games room with a table tennis table, suitable for both children and adults.

On the practical side: the villa has air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort, fibre broadband throughout, and several parking spaces on site. A cot and high chair are available on request.
